Traver Creek at Jones Drive was first sampled in the spring of 2010.

"A few genera (of Ceratopogoniidae) (e.g. Dasyhelea) are exclusively flower visiting, feeding on nectar, while many others thus supplement their diet or have non-haematophagous species."
